The story
FLAX started with a simple idea: good software comes from understanding the whole picture — the business, the users and the systems underneath. Rather than handing a project across a chain of specialists, the same developer takes it from first sketch to production.
That means honest advice about scope, a bias toward simple solutions that last, and code you could hand to someone else tomorrow. The work spans marketing sites, full web and mobile applications, and the system architecture that ties everything together.
Swedish by background and based in Barcelona, Spain, FLAX works across Spain and the wider European market — and delivers in English, Swedish and Spanish.
The name
In Swedish, flax means a stroke of luck. Not the random kind — the kind that shows up when preparation meets craft. That's the experience we aim for on every engagement: things land where they should, and it feels like luck.
Working together
Alongside its own products, FLAX takes on a small number of external projects. These typically start from €115K for engagements of six months and up — enough room to do the work properly.
